Connecticut law requires firewood to be sold by the cord or a fraction of a cord: 128 cubic feet of tightly stacked wood, no exceptions. Terms like “face cord,” “rick,” or “truckload” are not legal measures, and they are the oldest trick in the book for delivering less wood than you paid for.
Every Fournier and Sons delivery comes with a written sales invoice showing who sold the wood, exactly how much was delivered, and what you paid. Stack it and measure it; it will be there.
